Vinhomes Green Paradise Can Gio is a 2,870-hectare coastal development in Can Gio District, on the southern edge of Ho Chi Minh City.
The project is being developed in phases across four zones combining housing, commercial districts, public infrastructure, tourism facilities, and waterfront areas. Each zone has a different function within the wider township.
Development is planned through to 2031, with residential districts, infrastructure, commercial areas, and visitor facilities expected to open in stages. The project has also secured hospitality partnerships as its hotel and resort programme develops.

The project has also attracted international hospitality partnerships as tourism and resort components continue to expand across the wider coastal development.
In August 2026, the World Council on City Data awarded Vinhomes Green Paradise its Interim Custom ISO 37122 Smart City Certification.
Vinhomes also plans to establish a Forest Regeneration and Climate Adaptation Fund to support research, ecosystem restoration, and long-term resilience initiatives, including work associated with the Can Gio mangrove environment.
A coastal township taking shape in Can Gio’s mangrove belt
Vinhomes Green Paradise is located approximately 50km from central Ho Chi Minh City, in an area characterised by mangrove ecosystems, waterways, and sea frontage. It is adjacent to the UNESCO-recognised Can Gio Mangrove Biosphere Reserve, which covers more than 75,000 hectares.
The master plan allocates land for green corridors, canals, lagoons, landscaped open spaces, and coastal buffers alongside residential and commercial districts. Vinhomes states that the development will have a construction density of 16%.
Lower-density coastal neighbourhoods and resort areas are planned alongside higher-density waterfront districts. Housing, tourism facilities, commercial areas, and public amenities are distributed across the wider site.
Vinhomes Green Paradise is also the first official participant in the 7 Wonders of Future Cities programme organised by New7Wonders.
A master plan organised across four zones
The development is divided into four primary zones, each assigned distinct urban functions.
The Haven Bay is planned as a coastal lifestyle and leisure district. It includes residential neighbourhoods alongside large-scale entertainment infrastructure and waterfront leisure components.
The Green Bay functions as a central residential and civic zone, bringing together housing, education, healthcare, retail services and green public spaces.

The Paradise zone is positioned as the project’s high-density commercial and economic centre, including office functions, retail areas and a landmark vertical structure in the form of a 108-storey mixed-use tower integrating commercial, hospitality and public uses.
The Grand Island zone is planned as a large-scale waterfront development area, combining resort accommodation, villas, retail spaces, and leisure infrastructure integrated with coastal landscapes.
Housing formats spanning villas, townhouses and high-density core living
The residential programme includes villas, semi-detached villas, terraced townhouses, apartments, officetels, shophouses, and hospitality-linked residences.

Early phases are focused on villa and townhouse developments in selected zones, alongside the staged construction of infrastructure and supporting services.

The residential areas are designed for both permanent living and second-The residential areas are intended to accommodate both permanent residents and second-home owners.use.
An integrated township with homes, schools, hospitals and retail areas
Healthcare, education, and retail facilities are planned within the township alongside its residential districts.
Vinmec Can Gio International Hospital is proposed for the Green Bay zone. According to the developer, it will be designed in accordance with Cleveland Clinic standards and will incorporate treatment, research, and other healthcare functions.

Vinschool facilities are also planned across the residential areas, providing education from kindergarten to Year 12.
Shopping centres, pedestrian streets, neighbourhood commercial areas, and mixed-use retail spaces will provide daily services across the development.
Entertainment and leisure facilities
A 122-hectare entertainment complex is planned in the Haven Bay zone. Proposals include theme-park attractions, water-based recreation, safari-style facilities, and a winter-themed entertainment area.

The Blue Waves Theatre, covering approximately 7ha, is planned as a large cultural and events venue with indoor auditoriums, outdoor performance spaces and exhibition areas designed for large public gatherings and international-scale events.

A hospitality programme is also planned across the wider township, comprising approximately 7,000 hotel and resort rooms associated with international operators and branded hospitality partnerships, including IHG Hotels & Resorts.
Other leisure facilities across the township include parks, waterfront promenades, sports areas, cycling routes and recreational spaces built around the lagoon and coastal landscape.
Landmark Harbour and the waterfront economy
Landmark Harbour is planned as a 5-star international cruise and marina facility within the Paradise zone. It is designed to accommodate yachts and cruise vessels, while also integrating retail, dining, hospitality and event functions.

The marina is planned to function as both a transport hub and a waterfront destination, supporting tourism and commercial activity within the wider development.
A 108-storey commercial landmark
The proposed 108-storey tower in the Paradise zone is planned as the principal landmark within the development’s commercial district.
The mixed-use building is expected to contain offices, retail space, hospitality facilities, entertainment areas, and publicly accessible functions. Its central waterfront location places it within the township’s main business and commercial hub.
Mobility, connectivity and access to Ho Chi Minh City
Vinhomes Green Paradise is expected to be served by a combination of existing and proposed transport links connecting Can Gio with central Ho Chi Minh City and surrounding districts.
Key infrastructure projects planned include the Can Gio Bridge, upgrades to Rung Sac Road, water transport routes and a proposed high-speed rail connection between District 7 and Can Gio. Together, these links are expected to improve access to the coastal district and strengthen connections with the wider southern Ho Chi Minh City region.
