Poznań presents strategic real estate offerings at MIPIM 2026

The Polish city of Poznań is presenting a portfolio of 16 investment properties at MIPIM 2026 in Cannes, one of the world’s leading international real estate gatherings. The international event, held from 9–13 March, brings together investors, developers, policymakers and urban planners from across the global property sector.

The Poznań delegation is led by Mayor Jacek Jaśkowiak and Deputy Mayor Natalia Weremczuk. During the event, city representatives are engaging with investors and showcasing development opportunities across a range of sectors, including residential, commercial and industrial projects.

Diverse investment opportunities

Poznań’s investment offer at MIPIM includes 16 properties of varying sizes and uses, reflecting the city’s broader strategy to attract international investment.

The portfolio comprises:

  • Nine residential and commercial development sites
  • One property designated for industrial, warehousing and storage functions, with permitted service buildings and private parking facilities
  • Two sites suitable for service buildings, large-format retail or industrial, and storage uses
  • One property intended for service and industrial development
  • Three sites dedicated to service-oriented developments

Some of the properties are already being prepared for sale. Among them is a site at 36 Pleszewska Street, located near the Rondo Rataje transport hub, where a public tender is scheduled for April 2026.

Planning certainty as a key advantage

City officials emphasise that planning clarity is one of the principal advantages of the investment portfolio presented at MIPIM.

According to Deputy Mayor Natalia Weremczuk, 13 of the 16 properties are located within areas covered by existing local zoning plans, providing clear development guidelines for investors. The remaining three sites are referenced within the city’s General Plan, which Poznań adopted as the first major city in Poland.

Municipal representatives note that such planning frameworks provide predictability and consistency in the urban development process, factors often highly valued by international investors assessing long-term projects.

Rising investor interest in Poznań

Poznań’s participation in MIPIM is coordinated by the city’s Investor Relations Office, led by Katja Lożina. The office reports increasing interest in the city from investors representing a range of sectors.

The city has also emerged as a significant regional office market. Recent industry reports indicate that Poznań ranks second only to Warsaw among major Polish regional cities in terms of office space currently under construction.

Detailed information about the investment sites is available through the city’s official investment platforms. The properties can also be explored through a 3D digital model of Poznań prepared by the Geodesy and Municipal Cadastre Board (GEOPOZ).

Alongside Poznań, other Polish cities, including Warsaw, Kraków, Łódź and Wrocław, are also presenting investment opportunities at MIPIM 2026, alongside major European urban markets such as London and Berlin.
