Neural Earth, a Miami-based developer of geospatial risk intelligence technology, has launched Prometheus, an AI-powered platform for assessing physical and climate risks across individual properties and large real estate portfolios.
Prometheus combines property, geospatial and environmental information that may otherwise be scattered across separate datasets and systems. Neural Earth targets real estate investors who want to assess properties, examine portfolio exposure, and identify potential acquisitions before committing capital.
The platform is also intended for property and casualty insurers and reinsurers. Its tools cover parcel-level analysis, catastrophe modelling and portfolio exposure, as well as property discovery and analysis of how individual assets fit within a wider portfolio.
Combining property and climate risk data
Prometheus uses satellite imagery, environmental sensors, proprietary datasets and third-party models. Neural Earth says its AI analyses these sources alongside infrastructure, policy and portfolio data.
Its Parcel Intelligence tool covers structures, ownership, exposure and property history. Catastrophe modelling provides structure-level risk scores for hazards such as wildfire, flood and wind.
Concentration and accumulation modelling examines portfolio exposure and identifies emerging risks. Analysis can be carried out at the individual property level or across groups of assets.
Asset Finder, another Prometheus feature, searches markets for properties that meet user-defined criteria. Neural Earth says the searches can include off-market opportunities.
GAIA brings conversational queries to property data
Prometheus also includes GAIA, a conversational AI interface for querying parcel-level geospatial information without working directly with the underlying datasets.
Real estate teams can use natural-language queries to examine physical and financial asset information, including those without specialist data science expertise.
Neural Earth had been developing many of these geospatial capabilities before launching Prometheus. In February 2026, the company raised more than $9m in an oversubscribed seed funding round to expand its AI-powered geospatial intelligence technology for property and casualty insurance and real estate.
At the time, Neural Earth said its technology could integrate business data with satellite imagery, environmental sensor data and proprietary datasets. It also outlined natural-language geospatial queries, risk scoring for climate-related hazards, including wildfire and flood, and portfolio-level exposure analysis.
The company said the funding would support further product development and expansion across insurance carriers, reinsurers and institutional real estate firms. It also planned partnerships with private equity firms and real estate investment trusts.
Earlier use in property insurance
Neural Earth’s geospatial technology was already in use in property insurance before the Prometheus launch.
In a May 2026 customer account, the company said that its managing general underwriter, Roosevelt Road Speciality, used its technology to examine property portfolios and identify locations that warranted further investigation.
In one case, an address that had not raised concerns based on the broker-provided information received a flood hazard score of eight out of 10 when Roosevelt Road ran the locations through Neural Earth’s risk intelligence platform. The underwriter investigated the exposure further and excluded flood coverage for that location.
Roosevelt Road also said the technology reduced some underwriting reviews from hours or days to minutes by enabling its team to examine portfolios for risk similarities and outliers.
The use case concerns insurance underwriting rather than real estate investment, but it documents a customer’s use of Neural Earth’s property-level geospatial analysis prior to Prometheus’s launch.
Prometheus is available to enterprise customers.
