Ohana Development has reported record-breaking sales of AED 6 billion (approximately $1.63bn) within just 72 hours for its flagship Manchester City Yas Residences by Ohana project, marking one of the fastest-selling residential launches in Abu Dhabi’s real estate market.
The waterfront development, located along the Yas Canal, drew significant attention at launch, with investors reportedly queuing to secure units. The rapid sell-out highlights sustained demand for premium residential offerings in the emirate.
Of the total buyers, 35% were Emirati nationals, while the remaining 65% comprised expatriates and international investors, which indicates the global appeal of Abu Dhabi’s property sector and its reputation as a resilient real estate market.
In response to the overwhelming demand, Ohana Development is expected to release additional units in the near future.

Masterplanned waterfront community centred on active living
Spanning approximately 1.67 million square metres, the masterplanned development places a strong emphasis on green space, with more than 55% of the site allocated to landscaped gardens and open areas.
Designed around sport and active lifestyles, the community will feature dedicated training and recovery facilities, aligning with the Manchester City FC brand association.
The project will include a waterfront promenade lined with retail, dining and leisure offerings, alongside a marina sports club catering to water-based activities.
Residents will also have access to a range of resort-style amenities, including fitness centres and swimming pools, positioning the development as a lifestyle-driven residential destination within Abu Dhabi’s growing Yas Island corridor.
With demand exceeding initial supply, Ohana Development is preparing to release additional inventory, signalling continued momentum for high-end, branded residential developments in the UAE capital.
