A newly built Malibu estate currently listed for $23m is heading to auction later this month.
Anacapa, completed in 2025, will be auctioned by Concierge Auctions, a luxury real estate auction house, in cooperation with Aaron Kirman and Simon Mashian of Aaron Kirman Group / Christie’s International Real Estate, a global luxury property network, and Chris Johnson and Holly Hatch of Holly and Chris Luxury Homes Group / Coldwell Banker Realty, a residential real estate brokerage.
Bidder registration closes on 21 October, with online bidding due to open on 22 October and conclude on 29 October.
Newly built estate spans 7,200ft2
The property has seven bedrooms, seven full bathrooms and two half-bathrooms across approximately 7,200ft2. It occupies a 2.02-acre site in Malibu’s Trancas area.
The house uses natural stone, timber and large expanses of glazing. Its main living spaces open onto terraces overlooking the Pacific Ocean, while an infinity pool faces towards Point Dume and Santa Monica Bay.
A separate guest house provides additional accommodation. The main residence also includes a private cinema and fitness studio.
The property is equipped with a solar power system and battery storage, a private well with water storage and an integrated fire suppression system.
Coldwell Banker Global Luxury records show the estate has been marketed at different asking prices during 2026.
An earlier listing carried an asking price of $18.95m. A subsequent Coldwell Banker Global Luxury listing showed the property at $14.995m.
The current listing, received by Coldwell Banker on 28 September 2026, places the property back on the market at $23m ahead of the auction.
Bidding opens on 22 October
Concierge Auctions is running the sale through its online platform. The bidder registration deadline is 21 October at 8pm EDT and bidding is scheduled to start the following day at 7pm EDT. The auction will close on 29 October.
The estate is in western Malibu, close to Zuma Beach, Broad Beach and Point Dume State Beach and Preserve.
