Honeywell, the US-based building automation and industrial technology company, has launched a suite of cloud-based hospitality technologies that combine hotel access control, guestroom management, energy systems, and operations software.
The suite brings access control, guestroom management, energy systems, and operational oversight into a single platform for hotel operators.
The launch includes a cloud-based operations platform named Honeywell Forge Hospitality, which consolidates guestroom, maintenance, and energy management functions. Hotel teams can use the platform to track room status, monitor energy consumption, and respond to operational issues through automated alerts and centralised controls.
Honeywell said many hotels still rely on systems that operate independently of one another, making it more difficult to oversee daily operations from a single location.
The company has also expanded its hospitality access control offering through the Onity Cloud Suite, which combines locks, readers, gateways, and management software. The platform supports real-time monitoring of access activity, mobile entry, and digital wallet-based credentials.
The launch includes the Trillium 2.0 lock, which connects guestroom and shared-space access through the same management system. Honeywell has also updated its INNCOM guestroom management technology, with integrations between INNCOM thermostats and Onity locks allowing room settings to adjust automatically based on occupancy and guest entry.
Honeywell said the integration reduces unnecessary HVAC use and limits manual intervention by hotel staff. The launch also includes the INNCOM Premium Switch Series, a new range of in-room controls featuring blackout mode and customisable backlighting.
The company said occupancy-based controls adjust energy use according to room occupancy.
