Dubai real estate brokerage Eminence Luxe has established a subsidiary in Japan to expand sales and support for Japan-based buyers of property in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
Former professional footballer Shuhei Hoshino has been appointed to lead Eminence Luxe Japan. The company also plans to develop career opportunities for active and retired athletes.
The subsidiary intends to organise consultations, seminars, and other events in Japan, while working with local partner companies and specialists. It will provide information on property in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, including the associated risks.
Eminence Luxe said its Japanese-language services cover property purchases, contracts, management, and sales, as well as company formation, bank account opening, and visa assistance.
Japan operation to support UAE property buyers
The subsidiary is intended to give clients in Japan access to local assistance before and after purchasing property in the UAE.
Its planned services include providing the latest information on the Dubai and Abu Dhabi property markets, assisting with post-purchase procedures, and coordinating property management with the brokerage’s UAE team.
The Japan operation will also attend events and work with partner companies and professional advisers. The announcement did not disclose its office location, staffing, investment, or sales targets.
Shuhei Hoshino appointed to lead Japan subsidiary
Hoshino retired from professional football in 2026 after playing in Singapore and South Korea. He joined Albirex Niigata Singapore in 2018, scoring 19 goals in 23 matches as the club won the league championship. He also finished the season as the league’s leading scorer.
He later played for Busan Transportation Corporation FC in South Korea, Balestier Khalsa FC, Albirex Niigata Singapore, and Geylang International FC.

Hoshino said the role would allow him to draw on his experience as a professional footballer while addressing the difficulties athletes can face when building careers after leaving professional sport.
Eminence Luxe plans to offer athletes training and practical experience in property sales, marketing, public relations, and community management. Training is expected to cover real estate, compliance, and media and social media relations.
The brokerage also intends to hold information sessions and offer work-experience opportunities to active and retired sports professionals. It said any recruitment would depend on candidates meeting the requirements of specific roles.
