Dar Global has appointed Gulf Asia Contracting to build the podium of Trump International Hotel & Tower, Dubai, adding another construction package to the planned 80-storey development.
The London-listed luxury property developer said enabling works are due to be completed in September 2026. Edrafor Emirates is carrying out that package, while Gulf Asia Contracting will undertake the podium construction.
Planned for Sheikh Zayed Road at the entrance to Downtown Dubai, the approximately 350-metre tower will contain a five-star hotel, private residences, and a members-only club. Completion is scheduled for December 2031.
Podium contract follows enabling works
Dar Global awarded the enabling-works contract to Edrafor Emirates in December 2025. Its scope includes ground engineering, deep enabling systems, and site mobilisation in preparation for full construction.
Gulf Asia Contracting’s appointment is limited to the podium rather than the entire tower.
Ziad El Chaar, chief executive officer of Dar Global, described the contract as the project’s next construction stage and said the development remained on schedule.
Nikken Sekkei designs 350-metre tower

Japanese architecture and engineering practice Nikken Sekkei designed the tower with rounded corners, gold accents, and a grey exterior crossed by a zigzag motif referring to the original Trump Tower in New York.
Parking is concealed behind vertical louvres, while the crown is arranged as a series of indoor and outdoor spaces. Plans for the connected multi-storey car park include a gym, children’s play area, and observation deck.
The building will offer one, two, and three-bedroom apartments, alongside four-bedroom duplex penthouses. Homes will range from 109 to 722 sq m, with views towards the Burj Khalifa or the sea.
Hotel, residences, and private club planned
Two duplex penthouses with private sky pools will be based on the Trump Tower penthouse on Fifth Avenue in New York. Dar Global also says the development will have Dubai’s highest outdoor swimming pool.
Amenities reserved for residents will include a rooftop infinity pool, gym, owners’ lounge, and children’s play area.
The hotel will sit alongside the residences and The Trump, a members-only club planned with business, wellness, dining, and leisure facilities. Residents will receive priority when applying for membership, which will carry an annual fee.
Dar Global and The Trump Organization launched the project in April 2025, describing it as their fifth collaboration.
