A large estate in Dallas’ Old Highland Park is set to go under the hammer this summer through Concierge Auctions, the luxury real estate auction house majority-owned by Sotheby’s and Compass.
Listed for $29.9 million, the property occupies an acre-plus corner site overlooking Hackberry Creek Park in one of Texas’ most established luxury residential neighbourhoods. Bidding is due to open on 15 July and conclude on 29 July at Sotheby’s New York as part of the auction house’s New York Global Sales programme.

The home also marks the last commissioned residence designed by the late architect Cole Smith of Smith-Ekblad & Associates.
Completed in 2012, the English Traditional residence extends to approximately 20,485ft2. The house was built by Crowbar Constructors, with design consultation provided by Sherry Hayslip Interiors.

At the centre of the home is a two-storey great room designed with specialised acoustics and connected to a screened porch overlooking the neighbouring greenbelt. Elsewhere, the floor plan includes a formal dining room, conservatory, and a series of reception and entertaining spaces.
The kitchen is equipped with commercial-grade appliances, stone worktops, a large central island, and a separate preparation kitchen.
Indoor pool and wellness amenities featured within the estate

The primary suite occupies part of the upper floor and includes a private study, screened balcony, dressing rooms, a spa-style bathroom, and lift access to the property’s wellness facilities.
The residence also contains four additional en-suite bedrooms and a separate guest apartment. An indoor natatorium incorporates a heated pool, spa, cabana, and fitness facilities.
Seven fireplaces, a commercial lift serving all four levels, and parking for up to ten vehicles are also included within the property.

Auction scheduled for July
Bidding is scheduled to begin on 15 July before concluding on 29 July at Sotheby’s New York.
Located within Old Highland Park, the property sits close to Highland Park Village, Dallas Country Club, the Katy Trail, NorthPark Center, and the Dallas Arts District. The neighbourhood is known for its historic homes, mature tree-lined streets, and concentration of high-value residential properties.
