Absolute Hotel Services Middle East & Africa has completed the handover of U Sahl Hasheesh, a mixed-use beachfront development on Egypt’s Red Sea coast, marking a further step in the rollout of its U-branded residential and hospitality projects in the country.
The latest development is the company’s third project in MEA, its third signing in Egypt, and its third U-branded property in the country.
It is located in Sahl Hasheesh, Hurghada, a year-round leisure destination known for its beaches, nightlife, dining scene, and coral reef waters that support activities such as scuba diving. The area continues to attract international visitors, including European and Russian travellers.
The greensfield project comprises 257 units, including 68 hotel rooms and 189 branded residences and is scheduled to open in 2028.
Planned amenities include food and beverage outlets, a fitness centre, a swimming pool, and other shared services for both guests and residents, as agreed between the owner and operator.
Kevork Deldelian, Managing Director of Absolute Hotel Services Middle East & Africa, said the handover reflects confidence in Egypt’s tourism market and the Red Sea’s positioning as a leisure destination, adding that the development combines hospitality and branded residential living in a prime beachfront location.
