JLL Property Assistant has won the 2026 BIP Global Innovation & PropTech Award in the AI & Data Innovation category. Developed by global commercial real estate and investment management company JLL, the assistant was recognised in the Portfolio Intelligence subcategory.
The BIP Global Innovation & PropTech Awards honour forward-thinking technologies, platforms and digital solutions shaping the future of the built environment. Part of the Best International Project platform, the awards recognise innovation across the building lifecycle, from design and construction to transactions, operations and user experience.
JLL Property Assistant won for bringing together financial and operational records from different property systems to support portfolio decisions.
Managers can ask questions about vacancy risk, net operating income, tenant retention, spending and building operations through a natural-language interface. The assistant can also prepare reports, plans and recommendations using the available records. JLL Falcon supplements the client records with commercial property data and anonymised global benchmarks.
JLL Property Assistant connects financial and operational data

Information about vacancy risk, net operating income and tenant retention is often spread across financial, leasing and operational systems.
JLL Property Assistant works with Acumen, JLL’s property and business intelligence platform. Acumen integrates financial data from accounting applications such as Yardi and MRI, operational data from Prism by Building Engines and information from other property technology systems.
Property and asset managers can retrieve this information by asking questions through a chat interface. Examples given by JLL include questions about which retail assets face the highest vacancy risk in a given quarter and how net operating income is performing during the year. The assistant’s answers draw on information held in JLL’s enterprise data warehouse.
Managers can compare accounting and building operations data without searching several applications.
Property Assistant supports leasing, budgeting and operations
For leasing decisions, the assistant can generate tenancy reports, prepare stacking plans, identify suitable spaces for tenants, suggest ways to fill vacancies and examine occupancy and retention indicators.
For budgeting, the assistant can break down operating costs, analyse spending trends and prepare financial reports. Managers do not need to compile figures from several systems before reviewing them.
Operational enquiries can cover high-priority task statuses, work-order trends and tenant satisfaction issues. The assistant can also prepare portfolio reports and identify issues at individual buildings.
JLL designed the assistant for property owners and the managers responsible for office, retail and industrial portfolios.

JLL Falcon adds proprietary data and benchmarks
JLL Property Assistant uses JLL Falcon, the company’s AI platform for commercial real estate. Falcon uses generative AI and JLL’s proprietary property data and real estate expertise. JLL says the platform is built on nearly two petabytes of curated data drawn from its transactions and operations.
Property Assistant can use a client’s financial and operational records alongside this data. It can also draw on JLL’s anonymised global benchmarks, adding information beyond the client’s own portfolio. JLL says enterprise-grade security protocols protect the client records used by the assistant.
