Samsung C&T launches AI wellness platform Wellfy to integrate digital health into building spaces

Samsung C&T Wellpy Station

South Korean construction and engineering company Samsung C&T has launched Wellfy, an AI-powered wellness platform that connects digital health services to homes, workplaces and other physical spaces.

The system combines a mobile app with Wellfy Stations installed in physical spaces. Its first apartment application is planned for Raemian TriniOne in Seoul’s Seocho-gu. Samsung C&T has also installed Wellfy at the construction site of NCSoft’s RDI Centre in Pangyo.

The launch follows earlier development and pilot work on Samsung C&T’s wellness services. The company plans to expand Wellfy into other settings, including offices, shopping environments and rest areas.

Wellfy Stations combine health measurement, food and mind care

Wellfy has three types of stations. Wellfy Body measures 37 health indicators, including blood pressure, stress, body composition and skin diagnostics. Wellfy Food includes a microstore where users can buy personalised food products, while Wellfy Mind provides an immersive space to help users manage everyday stress.

Wellfy Mind uses an AI model trained on counselling techniques developed by Yonsei University professor Kwon Soo-young. Users can converse with the system and access personalised meditation content.

Samsung C&T developed the stations following trials with startups identified through FutureScape, its open-innovation programme, which has operated since 2023.

The three-part approach predates the Wellfy launch. In October 2025, Samsung C&T disclosed plans to develop an AI-based wellness platform that integrates physical, nutritional and mental health through digital devices and apps. The project brought together Body WELL, Food WELL and Mind WELL, with services spanning diet management and mental care.

Further details emerged in April 2026, when Samsung C&T said its planned wellness platform would connect personal health data via a single app, with features including AI coaching and personalised diet recommendations. The company also planned supporting infrastructure across residential communities, offices and commercial spaces, with rollout scheduled for the second half of 2026.

Kangbuk Samsung Hospital contributes chronic disease prediction model

Samsung C&T also began working with Kangbuk Samsung Hospital before Wellfy’s launch.

The two organisations signed an agreement in April 2026 to conduct joint research into wellness and home healthcare products and services. The work included plans to integrate the hospital’s chronic disease prediction AI model into Samsung C&T’s wellness platform, validate AI prediction and agentic coaching services, and jointly research future home healthcare products and services.

Samsung C&T said the collaboration would draw on Kangbuk Samsung Hospital’s health-screening data and medical expertise.

Wellfy now incorporates a chronic disease prediction AI model based on the hospital’s health check-up data and medical knowledge. Personal health data collected through the Wellfy app can be aggregated and used to provide personalised services.

Raemian TriniOne set for first apartment application

Raemian TriniOne will be the first apartment complex to receive Wellfy. The community facilities will have three types of Wellfy Stations. They will connect to the mobile app in real time, giving residents access to health measurements, personalised food recommendations and mind care.

Wellfy follows Samsung C&T’s earlier digital platforms, Homeniq for residential environments and Bynd for buildings. The company had previously said its planned wellness service would extend its experience with those platforms into personalised wellness.

Construction site provides another testing ground

Samsung C&T has also installed Wellfy at the NCSoft RDI Centre construction site in Pangyo.

The company is testing potential uses of the system among construction workers, citing digital transformation and an ageing workforce as drivers of growing interest in data-driven preventive worker care. Samsung C&T plans to refine the service using on-site data and user feedback.

Samsung C&T also plans to develop devices beyond the initial Body, Food and Mind stations and to expand the personalised services available through the app. Wellfy can also be installed in offices, shopping environments and rest spaces, the company said.

Cho Hye-jung, vice president of Samsung C&T and head of DxP, said the company plans to continue collaborating with medical institutions, healthcare startups and food and beverage specialists as it develops its wellness ecosystem.
