Hilton Group has opened a 174-room resort developed by Vietnamese property company Dat Phuong Group in Hoi An, Vietnam.

NHAAN Resort & Spa Hoi An formally opened on 31 July, becoming the first Tapestry Collection by Hilton property in the country. The resort occupies a riverside site in Cam Thanh village, near Hoi An Ancient Town, Cua Dai Beach, and the Cam Thanh Nipa Forest.

Dat Phuong said it invested ₫820 billion ($31m) in the project, its first hotel development. Hilton is managing and operating the resort directly, rather than licensing the brand through a franchise agreement.

Vietnamese architect Vo Trong Nghia designed the property using forms and materials associated with Hoi An. The buildings have roof profiles that recall the town’s tiled roofs, alongside planted areas on and between the structures.

Exposed concrete, granite, sandstone, timber, and local planting are used across the resort. Large windows provide views of the river, palm gardens, and surrounding waterways.

According to Dat Phuong, the site plan retains existing waterways, nipa palms, areca groves, and native riverside vegetation. The developer also used soil-cement embankment construction to reduce harder engineering work along the waterfront.

The resort has 174 rooms and suites, including accommodation with garden or river views. Some rooms have private balconies or direct pool access. Larger options include the one-bedroom Khang Suite and the NHAAN Presidential Suite, while 19 pairs of connecting rooms are available for families and groups.

Native textiles, local lanterns, and pottery feature in the interiors. The name NHAAN combines the Vietnamese words nhà, meaning home, and an, meaning peace.

Resort includes four dining venues and rooftop spa

Four restaurants and bars operate at the resort. Keng Restaurant provides all-day dining, while Plait Restaurant serves locally caught seafood prepared over an open Korean grill beside the river.

Hand-carved timber details at Bong Lounge refer to the woodworking tradition of Kim Bong Carpentry Village. The venue operates as a café during the day and a cocktail lounge in the evening. Nipa Pool Bar is located beside the outdoor infinity pool.
