Sotheby’s International Realty, a global network of luxury property brokerages, has entered Vietnam with an independently owned affiliate based in Ho Chi Minh City.
Vietnam Sotheby’s International Realty will represent selected luxury homes and residential developments across the country, including properties in established cities, resort destinations, and emerging markets. Ho Chi Minh City is the only office location named in the announcement.
The opening represents the brand’s 18th office in Asia.
Chloe Dang to lead Vietnam affiliate
The affiliate was co-founded by chief executive officer Chloe Dang and chairman James Miles-Lambert.
Dang will oversee strategy, client services, and daily operations. She has spent nearly two decades in media and 15 years in real estate, including as head of the real estate segment and a television anchor at a leading Vietnamese financial and business news channel.
Miles-Lambert will oversee corporate governance, long-term planning, and organisational development. He brings management experience from one of Vietnam’s leading retail groups.
The brokerage will serve clients and represent selected luxury residential properties and developments across Vietnam. It also plans to connect Vietnamese clients with property opportunities in international markets and introduce selected Vietnamese properties to buyers elsewhere through the Sotheby’s International Realty network.
Dang said domestic demand was being led by buyers from Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi. She also reported interest from Vietnamese families seeking property overseas, alongside international buyers considering luxury residential opportunities in Vietnam.
Vietnam office joins network spanning 86 countries
Philip White, president and chief executive officer of Sotheby’s International Realty, said Vietnam’s luxury residential market was being shaped by rising domestic wealth, infrastructure investment, and greater international visibility.
Vietnam Sotheby’s International Realty will operate as an independent affiliate. Its listings will appear on the brand’s global website, while its brokers and clients will benefit from the network’s international referral and marketing programmes.
Sotheby’s International Realty has more than 26,100 affiliated independent sales associates across over 1,100 offices in 86 countries and territories. Its franchise network operates through a long-term strategic alliance with Sotheby’s auction house.
The affiliate network is operated by Sotheby’s International Realty Affiliates, part of global real estate services company Compass International Holdings.
